Sörmland Vatten is an operating company owned by the municipalities of Flensburg, Katrineholm and Vingåker. On a daily basis, we take care of the production and distribution of drinking water, diversion and purification of wastewater, production and sale of vehicle gas as well as disposal of municipal waste and thus comparable waste.
The organization Sörmland Vatten has two main processes, water and sewage (VA) and sanitation, and two support processes, administration and customer service and communication.
Water and sewer
VA manages the owners’ fixed assets and principalship. VA is responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of waterworks and sewage treatment plants, water and sewage pipelines and the biogas plant Rosenholm Biogas.
Cleaning
Sanitation is responsible for pursuing the municipalities’ responsibility for sanitation, among other things by planning waste management so that current laws and established sanitation regulations are complied with.
Administration
Administration is responsible for finances and supports other operations and boards in administrative matters.
Customer service and communication
Customer service and communication is responsible for and continuously develops the internal and external communication and works with customer relationships.
