Biofrigas Sweden AB offers facilities with a unique technology that makes it possible to upgrade and liquefy biogas for small-scale production in agriculture, smaller treatment plants and industry.
By using Biofrigas facility to process manure into motor fuel, natural gas is collected and its negative impact on the greenhouse effect is greatly reduced. It also reduces carbon emissions by at least 85 per cent by the use of fossil-free fuels compared with gasoline. Biofrigas facilities make the distribution of the fuel at least six times more efficient.
Cost efficient fuel
At Biofrigas LBG plants raw gas is cooled down to minus 162 degrees Celsius and during the cooling process gas is purified from other emissions. As the gas passes from gas to liquid form, the volume is reduced by 600 times, which makes the fuel more cost efficient to handle and transport compared with gaseous fuel.
