The Swedish Cleantech company Aqua-Q was one of the nominated companies for the 2018 IWA Project Water Innovation Awards, which was held in Tokyo last week.
Aqua-Q is a cleantech entrepreneurial export oriented company and is active in the water and wastewater industry. They are nominated for its early warning system Aquatrack and Aqua reuse to detect contaminants in drinking water and purified wastewater (MBR effluent), and for online cost effective removal of bacteria and drug residues.
The award concerns the categorie Market-changing Water Technology & Infrastructure, which aims to support the development of innovations in water and sewage technology and infrastructure. The category focuses primarily on future-orientred applications and solutions that promote access to clean and safe water in the world. The founders of Aqua-Q are grateful for this recognition and believe that their contribution can save many lives and water shortage in the world can be minimized. Pure and safe reuse of water is necessary.
