Greater Than’s solution is revolutionary for people’s health as well as the planet.
The solution is an app called Enerfy, which can contribute to a 40 % decrease in damage frequency and a 17 % reduction in CO2 emissions, according to Greater Than. The World Wildlife Foundation and the Swedish Energy Agency calculate that 80 million tons of CO2 can be saved every year if the solution is implemented globally.
How it works
Enerfy calculates the risk of accidents through how the driver is driving in real-time through AI, and the price for a car insurance premium is then set using that data. The data also helps the driver to understand their driving behavior and urges them to drive smarter to save money. This change, in turn, creates a safer and more environmentally friendly way of driving. It is also possible to compete with other drivers in driving as smart as possible.
