Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona

In 2018, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland will combine their forces for the second time to set up one common Nordic pavilion.

Smart City Expo World Congress 13–15 November in Barcelona will reflect on what makes a city livable, what happens when “gentrification” changes the whole social character of a neighborhood, and how sharing can transform the way it operates so that it can become more sustainable, resilient, inclusive and, of course, smarter with a focus on people.

This year’s expo will concentrate on five main topics responding to the key issues facing cities:

  • Digital Transformation
  • Urban Environment
  • Mobility
  • Governance & Finance
  • Inclusive & Sharing Cities.

Additionally, the Smart Mobility Congress, the International Integrated Water Cycle Show (Iwater), the Circular Economy European Summit and the Sharing Cities Summit will be held in parallel to the SCEWC, thus creating great synergies between the co-located events and contributing to the major objective of creating a better future for our cities.

Welcome to the Nordic pavilion!

In 2018, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland will combine their forces for the second time to set up one common Nordic pavilion for Nordic companies and cities, with an exclusive program for exhibitors, partners and clients. We can strengthen our Nordic brand on technology and sustainability leadership as well as have a greater impact to global markets together. The pavilion will have exhibition stands, meeting tables and space for presentations. We collaborate to optimize the relationships between the Nordic Countries and to showcase the overall potential of Scandinavia.
