The Center for Circular Building (CCBuild) offers networks, knowledge and digital services. The purpose is to strengthen the market for circular products and services in the construction and real estate sector.
CCBuild serves as a shared platform for promoting circular building practices within the building and real estate sectors. We implement and develop circular working methods and disseminate experiences to a wide audience. Together with CCBuild’s many partners, we can make greater progress toward circular building.
The following products are offered for international stakeholders:
Inventory app
The CCBuild inventory app is used to simplify inventory and labelling of construction products and other goods, for example before renovation or demolition. It can also be used for other applications such as support for circular product management within an organization or for check-in and check-out of goods at a recycling depot. The app is adapted to mobile phones and tablets and works both for iOS and Android. You can find it in the App Store and Google Play.
Product bank
CCBuild’s product bank simplifies internal re-use of resources. It enables you to create your own database of existing resources into a material bank that can be used in projects and within your organization. The product bank provides support for quality assessment and for evaluation of climate effects with re-use.
Marketplace
CCBuild’s marketplace showcases a wide range of re-useable building materials, interiors, furniture and circular services available for purchase. The marketplace is seamlessly synchronized with CCBuild’s product bank and inventory app.
CCBuild is led by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and is developed in broad collaboration with players in the construction and building sector.
