At the heart of the solution lies the Beluga24, the most energy-efficient and technically advanced ferry of its type on the market today. The Beluga24 can be delivered with either an electric battery for short journeys or a hydrogen fuel cell for longer ones. The Beluga24 incorporates innovative hydrofoil technology, a carbon fibre light weight hull combined with a state- of-the-art driveline. The result is a premium vessel that creates low wakes of only 25cm and has outstanding manoeuvrability to ensure a fast and comfortable ride at speeds of up to 30 knots. The Beluga24 vessels are produced at GCF’s shipyard in Sweden.
