Egen El provides private persons with possibilities to produce their own electricity made by solar cells.
Egen El AB started to operate in 2007 and was then selling solar cells and electricity equipment, which is made to transform electricity produced by solar cells into standard voltage; 230 V. This equipment does not disturb the ordinary national power supply system, meaning that own electricity production can be combined with supporting contribution from the power supply network.
Wind power turbines and hybrid solutions
Except production of small scale electricity made by solar cells, Egen El also sells smaller wind power turbines and hybrid solutions; combing the effects of solar cells and wind power. The hybrid solutions optimize the possibilities to produce own electricity.
