Chematur Engineering provides technology and process solutions for the production of bioethanol – which process has a lower environmental impact than conventional ethanol production and is cost effective.
Biostil 2000, Chematur’s system for manufacturing bioethanol, is a continuous biological process with a steady-state condition in the fermentor. The process integrates fermentation, yeast recycling, primary distillation and evaporation. Sugar and starch-based raw materials are used to achieve a high quality in the process. Draff, a byproduct of ethanol processing, can be used for biogas production, livestock feed and as raw material for composting. When sugar is the raw material, it can also be used as liquid fertilizer.
Polymers based on renewable raw materials
Chematur Engineering AB also has systems for processing of ethanol, for example, ethylene. Ethylene can be used to manufacture various plastics such as PVC and polyethylene. In this way, the production of plastics is based on renewable raw materials. Chematur also supply processes for the production of chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide.
