– Heating
District heating provides unique opportunities of utilizing environment-friendly fuels and resources that would otherwise have been wasted.
Through a great number of international assignments, FVB has disseminated cutting-edge Swedish district heating know-how and at the same time acquired a unique competence. In these assignments, FVB has also learnt how to adapt Swedish technology to local conditions, not least in Central and Eastern Europe, and in North America, markets with differing economic conditions, technologies and legal requirements.
– Cooling
Since the early 90´s, the expansion of district cooling in Sweden has made this nation a world leader in district cooling technology. FVB has been the chief consultancy during the expansion of the district cooling system in Stockholm, one of the biggest systems in Europe.
– Combined Heat and Power
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is double energy production, followed by reason. Where conditions apply, it is obvious that we should use more efficient solutions to cover the energy demand of the community. FVB has played an active role in the expansion of CHP in the United States, Canada and the Baltic countries, as well as Sweden.
– Processes
Industrial energy and process technology is about processes in an industrial environment. Production, distribution, control, efficiency, adaption and development are all examples.
