The Consulate General of Sweden in Mumbai, the Embassy of Sweden in India, Vinnova, Business Sweden, Smart City Sweden and IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute are inviting Swedish companies to the ‘Smart City Sweden Roadshow’ – 4 days in 4 cities in India.

Background

Cities, being the engines of growth and centres for economic, social & cultural development, are also the biggest consumers of water and energy. Cities across the world contribute to 70% of global CO2 emissions, emanating from transport, industry, buildings, and waste. Urban India’s approach toward growth will play a big role in the global climate response. Cities can make a significant contribution by adopting proper mitigation and adaptation measures. Innovative Swedish solutions for the smart and sustainable city have a leading position in the international market.
