MedCardApps AB develops and delivers a complete Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution to hospitals and healthcare facilities on the African market.
The idea to develop a digital patient health record and clinic management system originated from the experiences made by the company CEO Phillip Kilara, originally from Uganda, when visting his family after many years of living in Denmark.
The product FrontDesk is designed especially for the African market with its particular requirements, to replace the unreliable and time consuming use of paper records, which are dominant today.
Currently the company has customers in Uganda and Zambia and is entering the Kenyan market.
