FormConsult’s invention consists of a kind of a vibrating roller that is so light that it can wander on the fresh concrete and re-compact it better. The purpose of this technology is to achieve a crack-free and denser surface. It will also reduce much of the heavy work that today is done manually.
Building sustainable constructions
Alvarsson FormConsult AB has a concept to reduce the proportion of cement in the concrete. If these methods were used worldwide, it would mean that 500 million tonnes of cement would be saved each year while 500 million tonnes of carbon dioxide would also be prevented from reaching the atmosphere.
